Examination procedure

Briefing and introduction (approx. 5-10 min)
The test procedure is explained in detail and all open questions are clarified.

CBT - Computer Based Training (approx. 35 min) - English
After the briefing, the actual test begins with 12-18 questions pre-recorded by speakers and randomly selected from a pool of questions.

Interview (15min) - English
The interview is conducted by the language tester. The entire interview is related to aviation.
 

General information about the language exam

• The exam questions are individually tailored to the examinee.
• The language examiner only tests language ability, not subject knowledge.
• In the exam, the examinee will not be asked any written questions or questions on grammar. Only the following aspects are assessed, which are briefly limited to listening, understanding, rendering and speaking. 
  • Pronunciation
  • Structure
  • Vocabulary
  • Fluency
  • Comprehension
  • Interactions
   

Cost

The prices for the online language exams, initial or for revalidation, are as follows:

Level 4 only = € 195.00 per candidate
Level 6 = € 299.00 per candidate
